The 2019 Wild Atlantic Way Etape takes you on a journey by road bike of the most beautiful parts of Ireland over 8 carefully planned stages.
The Wild Atlantic Etape offers some of Europe’s most spectacular coastal cycling. Starting in the gourmet town of Kinsale the route winds its way through some of the most scenic parts of Ireland, west Cork, Kerry and Clare, before the final stage into the City of Galway the European Capital of Culture in 2020.
The 8 stages of the Etape are broken down into two regions, the South and the West, each comprising 4 wonderful stages of cycling. The format for each region comprises 5 night’s accommodation and 4 days on the bike, and our experienced team of support staff will take care of all the logistics allowing you enjoy the magic of cycling Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. The Wild Atlantic Etape is based on two blocks of the Wild Atlantic Way, each block covers approximately 460km over 4 stages. The blocks operate back to back and cyclists can sign up for Block 1 or Block 2, or if you wish to do 8 days cycling Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, then you can also sign up for Blocks 1 & 2.

Over the years we’ve built up a great reputation providing accommodation and support packages for amateur cyclists. We reserve hotels for our groups of riders in convenient locations for the starts and finishes with breakfasts and evening meals in line with the event and of course bike storage. Our experienced mechanics, drivers and hosts provide airport transfers on arrival and departure, daily additional food and assistance stops, luggage transport and delivery to the next hotel.

Scenically located overlooking Valentia Harbour, Cahersiveen is the capital town of the Iveragh peninsula. The town also lies at the foot of Beentee Mountain, on the Fertha Rive, and is renowned for its natural beauty and wealth of historic sites. It is home to the engaging Barracks Heritage Centre, the atmospheric ruins of a 15th-century Castle and two ancient forts. The town also has a busy marina and has a reputation for some of the best deep sea angling in Europe.
Sandy coves and beaches surround the town and the calm waters and spectacular scenery attract artists, climbers, windsurfers, cyclists and walkers.Fom the wind-whipped tip of Malin Head to the safe haven of Kinsale Harbour, wrap yourself in the wilderness of the west coast of Ireland on the world's longest defined coastal touring route.
