Flavour of Killorglin celebrates the culinary delights of
Killorglin and the surrounding area, combining great food with events and
entertainment for food lovers, the local community and visitors.
Local artisans and restaurateurs will showcase
the wonderful food, produce and cuisine for which the area is renowned, from
crusty baked bread to locally smoked salmon and mouth-watering Kerry lamb.
Flavour of Killorglin is not only about food, it is about our local food producers, the restaurants and most importantly…. The Killorglin community. The locals would like you to visit their charming, little town, no matter the time of the year! Killorglin town is the first stop for those travelling the famous Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is a driving route covering over 179 km on the Iveragh Peninsula. We are also on stunning Wild Atlantic Way! Perfect spot for you to have a little break, wander around and try some of our local specialties.
Even though Killorglin is a small town they have many fine restaurants,
pubs, cafes and accommodation to offer the visitors. Make sure to check out the

Besides the Flavour of Killoglin festival, the town is also a home of one of Ireland’s most unusual street festivals – Puck Fair. The fair is one of Ireland’s oldest and longest celebrated and is held without fail on 10th, 11th and 12th August every year, for over 400 years now!
You can also enjoy the annual K-Fest every June Bank Holiday Weekend…. Music and Art Installations pop up all over town.
There are also several other festivals which are supported by young and old alike, such as St. Patrick Day festival, Halloween in Killorglin and Christmas in Killorglin. Plenty of reasons I’m sure you will agree to visit Killorglin !!

Events include taste trails, street orienteering, country markets, jazz, cooking demos and a lot more. Get to know the people behind the food at the festival and take the rare opportunity to try some of Ireland’s finest food all in one location.
The main activities take place on Saturday, centered on the Taste Trail in over 20 venues across the town, where tasters are on sale in exchange for Flavour Vouchers throughout the day. Coinciding with the Taste Trail is the Flavour Market, which will host a variety of local food producers as well as budding young food entrepreneurs at the Mini-Market!
This event is not just about food as there are a host of events which highlight what Killorglin has to offer.
