in 1994, this magnificent nine-hole course, set amid the glaciated valley of
the world famous Gap of Dunloe, is one you cannot afford to miss on your trip
to County Kerry.
The spectacular scenery that can be seen from the course with views of the beautiful, world-renowned Lakes of Killarney and the enchanting sweeping mountains of the McGillicuddy Reeks, distinguish it from all the others, leaving it in a class of its own.
Throughout the course you will find strategically positioned bunkers, natural mounds and a number of memorable par threes, all of which are enough to test even the most talented golfer's mettle to the fore.
The course is surrounded by a
mix of pasture land and rugged mountain sides that is home to some of Ireland's
most celebrated fauna, among them red deer and hares, falcons and eagles.
The complex is home to the Dunloe Golf Club as well as being popular with local and visitors for the practice facilities including; a 9-hole par 4 golf course, a driving range featuring 20 covered bays and outdoor grass tees and pitching and chipping practice areas located adjacent to a cafe, market garden, golf and outdoor sports shop. Club rentals available (right and left handed).
The complex also includes Gap of Dunloe Crazy Golf which features a scaled model of the Killarney Valley's mountains and lakeland. Gap of Dunloe Golf Course.
