The 10KM route
will take in the beautiful Town of Dingle and it's picturesque surroundings.
The event, which is endorsed by a number of leading athletes, has become a permanent fixture on the schedule as the allure of running one of the most scenic routes in Ireland encourages participation.
The event is being run on a 'not for profit' basis and the beneficiaries are The National Breast Cancer Research Institute, The Saoirse Foundation - Liam's Lodge Project, and Dingle's Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne Secondary School for the development of a running track and sports pitch.
10km is one of the most
popular and common running distances in Ireland. Participants will be required
to collect their Registration Packs on the Morning of the race between 8am and
10am in the Dingle Bay Hotel on Strand Street. Further instructions will be
forwarded via email closer to the event. Event Starts at 10am.
A Big LED Clock will be in place at the Start and the Finish of the race. (The event is run on a 'not for profit' basis, with no chip timing).
