The event managed to attract over 200 participants last year and, with the ever increasing interest in cycling across the county, organisers are expected an even larger turnout for this year's cycle on Saturday.

The Dingle Peninsula Challenge will cover a 125km course comprising of two loops beginning at Dingle Marina and progressing through Annascaul to Camp Junction before returning to Dingle via the Conor Pass.

The second loop goes through Ceann Trá, Slea Head, Ballyferriter, Baile na nGall, Feothneach and Cuas before finishing up at Dingle Marina. Cyclists can do either loop or indeed both (35 miles or 75 miles) and there will be plenty going on in Dingle besides with the Féile na Bealtaine arts festival in full swing.

Participants may register on the day from 8am at Dingle Marina; an online registration facility is also available at FeileNaBealtaine.ie or contact a member of the club for a registration form
