Can your Team complete the 114 mile Ring of Kerry from the crack of Dawn to when the Sun Sets.
The Dawn to Dusk Run the Ring Team
Challenge is a new event. It is organised by the same group who run the Tralee
marathon and 100k and quite a few other local races in the area. The races have
always been well organised.
The main challenge will start and finish in Waterville County Kerry, the distance 114 miles and the Teams will be made up of 10 – each team member has to run at least once the minimum being 10K.
Each team has from Sunrise 5:21 AM to Sunset 10:02 PM to complete the course. First team home wins (Female, Male and Mixed Categories).
Each team will have a GPS tracking device, to be changed between team members that are running, the Race Officials will be able to track all teams from the Race Control Centre.
Each team has to have a Team Support Vehicle and a non – running Team Captain (A full PDF rule book will be produced for the event).
The Individual 102K Dawn To Dusk Run the Ring Challenge will between Killarney and the Charlie Chaplin Statue in Waterville.
