Annascaul Walking Festival offers a variety of guided coastal and hill walks in the area around the village of Annascaul on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry.
The Annascaul Walking Festival is a popular event organised by Annascaul Walks. Annascaul walks is a small friendly walking club in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula, where brooding mountains, stunning coastlines and fast flowing rivers provide magnificent year round walking.
The club embodies the adventurous spirit the friendly humor and the co-operative nature of Annascaul’s famous son, Tom Crean the antarctic explorer.

Come and join the gang on this great and popular weekend of walking on The Dingle Peninsula. On the Friday there is a night walk starting at 7.30pm. Enjoy an amazing walk by torchlight with the twinkling lights of Annascaul on one side and the reflecting splendour of the waters of Dingle Bay on the other, as we scale the three small hills separating the village from the sea.
On the Saturday you will have a choice of at least 3 different walks and on the Sunday a choice of 4, with the same on Monday. 8 walks of varying grades & distances over four days.
Annascaul village offers you wonderful craic and friendship in the pubs, B&B’s and hostels. Enjoy the 14 marked looped walks and hospitality during the walking weekend or at any other time during the year.
