May you never lie, steal, cheat or drink.
But if you must lie, lie in each other`s arms.
If you must steal, steal kisses.
If you must cheat, cheat death.
And if you must drink, drink with us, your friends.
Hi, I’m Tom O`Connor. My family on my fathers side is from Monaree in Dingle and on my mothers side, Moyvane in North Kerry.
I myself live in the City of Birmingham in the middle of England, where several thousands of young Irish men and women emigrated to in the 40`s, 50`s and the60`s.
My father came here in 1947 and my mother a year later, they have both retired back in Ballybunion Kerry now along with four of my sisters and their families.
I have travelled over to County Kerry nearly every year since I was 3 years of age, and in the last 15 years driven to every nook and corner of the county.

I always find it amazing how a smell can bring back memories of a time gone past. A whiff of turf smoke can propel you back to those pleasant evenings around the cosy living room fire. Bring those memories back with a sod of Kerry Bog Turf.
